Last Sunday, March 1st, was Servolution Sunday at Brazos Pointe! We look forward to this every year as the day that our church goes out into our cities and shows God's love by serving. It was a rainy Servolution day this year, so the girls were happy to wear their rain coats.
The rain held off and we were able to have our rally outside as planned. From there, I took Cooper and Calli to the church for KidServ2 and then Kendall and I met our small group at True to Life Ministries for our service project. Children ages 5 and older serve with their parents, and children 4 and under go to the church and they even do a service project there, appreciating our firemen!
We sorted clothes at The Box, Randy and the guys did a few construction projects around the store, and we enjoyed being with our small group!
The little girls got to ride a train at the church, and see a real fire truck!
It was a great morning!
