We have had a great summer already...and it's just now July! I have not taken many pictures on our actual camera, but we've taken plenty on our phones! So, here is our summer so far in IPhone pics!
Granny sent the girls matching Curious George pajamas. They love them and are so cute!!
We have been to Palm Beach at Moody Gardens in Galveston with friends! Last week the Calhouns, Mitterlings and us met Holly, Ella and Ethan there for the day. It is a great water park for the kids! They were worn out at the end of the day and so was I! Kathy and Greg Pickering watched the girls one night so Randy and I could go on a date. They went on lots of "bear trips" and ever since then Kendall has been wanting to do it a lot! Here they are, patting their legs and hunting that bear!
Snuggling on the couch, watching Lady and the Tramp!
Popcorn and game night at Fonda's! These two girls love to make popcorn with Fonda. So fun!
We are so thankful we still see Holly and Aaron and Ethan and Ella so much, even though they are in Galveston. We go there some, but they really come here a lot between different appointments, meetings, etc. We are thankful!
The Mitterlings are moving in to a new house here in town! In the meantime, they asked if Kendall wanted to borrow their blow-up pool until they got situated. She has loved that!
Fancy Cooper! We borrowed some hats from the church for hat/game night at Fonda's and Cooper particularly liked this one. :)
We've been swimming with Sarah and Caleb at their grandparent's house! Here the girls are eating ice cream after a fun swim.
Kendall went to Vacation Bible School for the first time this year! She went for a whole week to another church here in town - every morning from 9-12. She loved it! Every day they had the kids wear a different color, so here she is before VBS on blue day! I love that she has been singing the songs they learned and just that she was brave enough to go somewhere new and try something different!
Another picture from Palm Beach - eating lunch in the shade.
Mary came over with Sarah and Caleb to keep the girls for me when I had a dentist appointment one day. I'm so thankful for friends who help out so much! She texted me this picture of the kids "going to the ball!" :)
We have had a great balance this summer of fun days out and great restful days at home! A week of VBS, a trip to Cow Creek, swimming lessons, and just playing with friends has been awesome! Looking forward to all that July holds!
