I realized today that it has been awhile since I've blogged. Then I went to look on my phone and didn't find many pictures from the past couple of weeks. We've had a good couple of weeks - just nothing major to post about. Figuring out our new routine with Kendall and Cooper's schools, day-to-day stuff, and battling a little sickness has consumed our time lately. Good weeks - just nothing big.
One day last week, Cooper and Calli and I went and met Kendall at her school for lunch. The school asked us to wait a couple of weeks before we came to eat with our students, just so they could establish routines and learn how to eat in the cafeteria. So last week I finally got brave enough to take both girls up for lunch. They did great! Mary came and ate with Sarah, too, and Kendall loved that because Sarah is in first grade, and Kendall was able to sit with her for lunch. Cooper and Calli and I had fun, too! It was great to see her with some of her friends, meet a few other moms that were there, and see Kendall in her school environment. She is so big!
Cooper is in preschool on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so those days are for Calli and I to spend together. One morning recently we went to Chick fil A for breakfast. She was totally accessorized and I had to take her picture. She didn't mind. Purse, glasses, necklace, and her cup. She's so awesome.
She loved going to Cooper's class for her birthday. I had a hard time tearing her away from the centers. She will love going to school next year!
My Granny got the girls these maroon and white polka dot dresses for Cooper and Calli's birthdays. They are so precious! They wore them the Sunday after our loss to Alabama (sadness) and they looked adorable. If I do say so....
The girls passed around a little fever for about a week and a half. Cooper missed a day of school, then Kendall missed a day of school. Calli just started battling some congestion and wheezing yesterday, so hopefully that goes away soon.
Calli had her follow up with her ENT today and it went well! We don't have to see him again for another six months! She has tubes in her ears now, and her hearing tested perfectly!
Soon I want to post a blog about our daily schedule. Just for us - for the girls' books - because I want to remember what our days look like at this stage in their lives. It's been an adjustment having Kendall in Kindergarten. Drop-off, pick-up, and naptimes in between. Kendall is just doing so well at school, though, and we are so proud of her!
Our lives are busy and full and most of the time exhausting, but we love our three precious girls so much and I wouldn't trade being home with them for anything! They still make us laugh all day long, and God is still teaching me so much through being their Mom. And also we are thankful for that 8:00 bedtime that is pretty strict because of school these days - because by then we are ready for some down time!
