Christmas with Granny and Papas

I'm finally working on finishing up blogging on Christmas! Good thing - it's almost mid-January! Oh well.
After celebrating Christmas at home, we started packing up and left Lake Jackson around 11 on the 24th. We were super excited to get to meet Alden, Scott, and Kristian for lunch in Conroe. They were on their way to Galveston for Christmas with Jan and Kevin and a cruise, so we were happy to get to see them and exchange gifts at (where else?) Chick fil a! Here are the girls, eating with Kristian.

Then we kept heading North to Ft. Worth! We met up with Granny and Papas at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was so fun to see everyone and let the girls play the piano, look at the nutcrackers and their tree, and open more presents! Grandma and Grandpa got each of the girls a cute Hello Kitty hat - here they all are!

We had a wonderful dinner, exchanged gifts, then went to Granny and Papas' new apartment! The girls were so excited to see how their "hotel" looked and even more excited to see Dennis. We exchanged gifts with them, and then went to bed and opened stockings in the morning!

All of the girls got new light-up shoes! So fun!
And Flipp-eez hats in their stockings the next morning! Just like their Stompees from last year, but hats! So cute!

We had so much fun celebrating Christmas with Granny and Papas, and were looking forward to more celebrating the rest of that day!
