We had our annual college friends reunion back in June and it was a BLAST! We went to Longview for two nights and the girls did so great and they had almost as much fun as we did! Courtney and Trent, Amy and David, Michelle and Randy and I and ALL of our kids stay at the pool house at David's parents house and it is so perfect. We just eat and swim and rest and play and eat some more. This year we had 7 adults and 9 kids + 1 on the way in the Mitchell family! One of my favorite parts was watching the kids all play together and become good friends. Kendall calls them her "A&M cousins" and we all just think it would be so fun for them to grow up and be roommates like we were!
Madison is the oldest and her birthday was actually on the Saturday that we left. She turned 7, but she and Kendall both just finished Kindergarten and they had fun playing together, along with Amy's oldest, Kate. Here's Calli playing with Amy's youngest (for now!), Natalie.
This girl had just finished a week of swim lessons and she was a fish! She swam all over that big pool and loved going down the water slide. We got there Thursday and swam some that night, and then Friday she was in the pool right after breakfast from 9 until 8 that night, with just about a 20 minute break for lunch and dinner on the patio. That's her idea of the best day ever!
The three bigs. Too bad there's not much personality there. ;)
Before bed both nights, Cooper climbed into bed with Hannah and watched some shows. They were sweet buddies, too.
This was about 10 minutes after we left their house on Saturday. She was OUT! It was a super fun weekend and also a pretty quiet drive home on Saturday.
Girls, it was so fun and I'm so thankful we all make it a priority every year. I've been trying to count if this was our 12th time or our 13th? Whatever it is - it's been a bunch and it's one of my favorite things every year for all our families to get together and just hang out. Love you girls!
