Fishing with Gigi and Peeps

Gigi and Peeps came for a visit the first weekend of October! They got a house down at Surfside, but instead of being on the beach side, they got it on the bay side so that Mike could do some fishing. The girls loved it down there and had so much fun with their new fishing poles from Gigi and Peeps!

Kendall was actually pretty good at casting and was so excited when she caught her first fish! I think she ended up catching four all together. So fun!

Kendall had school on Friday while they were here, so Gigi and Peeps got to go have lunch with her at school. Then, Friday night, Randy and I had a wedding to go to, so the girls stayed out at the beach house with Gigi and Peeps and spent the night. They made cookies and did more fishing!

One day Randy went out there and kayaked with Kendall.

Saturday morning when they went out to fish, a cold front had blown through. They were so cold they had to put their robes on! I love these pictures.

They had to leave on Saturday night, a little earlier than they planned on, because Papaw started not doing well. It was not a fun ending to the weekend, but we really did have such a fun time with them and it was a great, relaxing time!
