We went to Ft. Worth the weekend before school let out to celebrate Zach and Jenna's wedding and also Granny's retirement! Randy officiated the Genre's wedding in Southlake and, even though we had to move the location the day before the wedding, it was beautiful and all came off so well! Here is a group of us from BPF waiting for the wedding to start.
We spent Thursday night at Gigi and Peeps' house and the girls had lots of cousin fun!
Friday, Granny kept the girls at her house while we went to the rehearsal dinner, and then we joined them later and spent our first night at their new house in Decatur! The girls love playing with their dog, Sunny.
Saturday we got to go to Evy's birthday party, and then we took the girls to Pops' and Kiki's house while we went to the wedding. Aunt Maegan was there and she took some great pictures with her camera. The girls got to swim, go on a treasure hunt with Pops, and even see Great Granny!
Sunday we went to have lunch at Great Granny's house and then we went to Granny's school for her retirement reception! Mom teaches at the same elementary school that Alden and I went to, and that Dad went to! She has taught there for 22 years and we love sharing all those memories with the girls when we go there. The reception was so perfect, and it was so fun to see all the students, parents, and former coworkers that have meant so much to Mom. It was a great celebration!
Sunday night, we drove home so that Kendall could have her last week at school! We stopped at a DQ (of course) and there was even a pet playground for Molly to take a break in. Road trips are always an extra adventure when we have the Molly girl. This was actually our only stop on this trip - just one stop is a record for this crew!
