How did this sweet face turn so fast into this sweet face??
Kendall turned 8 on February 4th! Her party was the weekend before, so we celebrated on her actual birthday with banana bread for breakfast, a special Chick fil A treat for lunch at school, and then we had church that night.
8 years old! It is the joy of our lives to watch our sweet Kendall grow up. She is so beautiful, so funny, and so smart. We love having deeper and deeper conversations with her as she is getting older, and it is just the most fun to watch her continue to figure out the world around her - just like when she was that sweet little red-headed baby. She is a wonderful friend, she is silly, she loves her sisters and they look up to her so much, and she is learning more and more about what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Kendall, we tell you all the time that we're not going to keep letting you get bigger, but the truth is that we are loving the adventure God has given us in you, and we are excited about each new day to come. Life with you is a gift and we are just so very thankful. Happy birthday, big 8 year old!
