Meet the Teacher

The Thursday before Kendall started school last week we got to go to Meet The Teacher! She was very excited to be going back to her school and we thought she looked so grown up! 

                                                      

Cooper was also excited to be going to Kendall's school. We think maybe she thought she would be going to school too, but we kept reminding her that she would get to go next year! She is staying home this year for some one-on-one time with me and we are already having a bunch of fun just the two of us. She'll get to start next year in the three year old class! 

                                                     

The girls had some refreshments while I got Kendall's paperwork all turned in and we figured out which class she would be in. 

We are so thankful for Kendall to be able to be back at Wee Place this year! It's hard for us to believe, but this will be her fourth year there! She started when she was 18 months old and I taught chapel there with her. I'm trying not to think too much about the graduation ceremony I know is going to happen at the end of this year! We just love Willow Drive and all the teachers and directors who work there. They do a great job and Kendall loves it! She just goes to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9-1. It is perfect for us. There is a four day option, but I am not ready for her to be gone that many mornings - Kindergarten is coming soon enough! And the hours work great with our schedule - she's still able to come home and have some rest time in the afternoons, but they eat lunch there, which I love. Just perfect!
This is her teacher this year! Her name is Mrs. Melissa and Kendall loves that they both have red hair! She even goes to our church!
