Halloween Costumes!

The girls told me this year that they wanted to be puppies. After waiting a few days to make sure their choices didn't change, I set to work making their costumes. First, we went and bought black hoodies for both of them. They were so excited that they had to wear them out of the store - even though it was so hot outside!

Then I used brown felt and sewed spots and ears on the hoodies. It took a little longer than I thought it would - this is the one time of year I decide I need a sewing machine! Then I made a collar out of red and yellow felt, put the whole thing with black pants and we were set! They loved being puppies for Halloween!
