The Friday before Spring Break was Texas Day in Kindergarten. Kendall has been learning about Texas symbols and traditions and they celebrated with a morning of rodeo and Texas activities. Cooper and Calli went to play with their friends Amber and Garrett and Randy and I were both able to go help in Kendall's class. We were excited to get to be a part of her fun day!
They started the day with a Kindergarten parade through the school. All the other students lined the halls and the Kindergarteners walked through, waving their Texas flags.
Kendall felt a little nervous and had me walk with her, so I got to be in the parade, too.
After that, they rotated through all the different Kindergarten rooms, doing square dancing, playing card games, riding stick horses, getting their faces painted, and lots of other fun activities.
I went and picked up the little girls after we finished volunteering and brought them back to the school to eat lunch with Kendall. They had stayed in their pajamas all morning, and I didn't take the time to change them, so they came to school in their pjs. So cute!
Kendall loves showing off her little sisters when they come!
It was a fun last day of school before a fun Spring Break!
