While Peeps went on a scout camping trip to Philmont for two weeks in July, Gigi, Val, and all the cousins came to visit us in LJ for a few days! The girls and Oliver all loved getting to play together and we had a great visit.
We went to the beach on Sunday night. The evening is Randy's favorite time to go to the beach because it's so pretty and not so hot. Everyone had fun!
Kendall had Kid's College in the mornings for a couple of hours, and Calli had speech a couple of the days they were here, but we were still able to have lots of fun around those things. One day we played on the water slide in the backyard, and one day we went swimming at the Mitterling's while they were out of town.
One afternoon when Randy got home from work, the girls all decided they wanted to go on a nature walk. So, he took them! So brave! Here they are, about to go. Each girl had a backpack or a purse that they packed themselves with journals, pencils, other necessary items, and snacks.
They walked around our block, but when they got to the house behind ours, he sent them through their backyard, over the fence, and into ours! He said they were DONE!
We watched lots of movies together....
...and played lots of dress-up together.
These cousins love being together and we love when they are able to come visit!
