The weekend of Kendall's baptism was also Randy and Anita's birthday weekend! Randy's birthday was on Friday, the 1st, and Anita's was on Saturday! So we had lots to celebrate all weekend. And of course the cousins all had a fun time getting to play together!
For lunch on Randy's birthday, we went to eat hot wings - his favorite!
Then that night, we made a cake after dinner and sang happy birthday and opened presents. We decided to get Randy new prescription sunglasses for his birthday, but since he had to make an eye doctor appointment to get that process started, we just gave him lots of funny glasses on his actual birthday. The kids had fun trying them on.
We gave Gigi a bracelet from Brighton that we can add charms to. It was fun to get to all be together to celebrate birthdays!
Kendall got some special presents from her grandparents for her baptism. Granny and Papas gave her a sweet necklace with a cross, her name, and her birthstone on it, Gigi and Peeps gave her a cross necklace, and Pops and Kiki added more to her college savings account!
Auggie and Scott gave her a journal with some fun pens and stickers to decorate it. Kendall knows how much I love to journal and has already been busy, writing memory verses and important things in her journal. Very thoughtful.
Kendall wanted to write the Bible verse on the chalkboard sign for the baptism: 2 Corinthians 5:17 "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation."

We had a lot of fun all weekend and loved being with all our family and celebrating so many exciting things!
