Texas Day for Coop

Kindergarten celebrated Texas Day on the Friday before Spring Break. They have been learning all about the symbols of Texas, so they spent the day rotating to different classes, doing different Texas-themed activities. Randy, Calli and I went and volunteered for Ms. Woodward and got to help with the Texas Rodeo that was in the cafeteria for her room's activity. We painted Texas flags on faces, had stick horse races, lasso the bull, snocones, horseshoes, and lots of other fun activities! We loved watching Coop with her friends!

The morning started off with a parade through the halls of the school. Kindergarten loves a good parade! Cooper led the way for her class again, and was so brave. I was working on the blog book for 2014 this week and saw that Kendall got so nervous that I had to walk with her. So fun to see their different personalities as they grow!
