Spring Break in San Antonio!

Gigi and Peeps took us on a Spring Break trip to San Antonio this year! We went to stay at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch, where Randy and the staff go on their yearly retreats and where we went also with Gigi and Peeps back in 2012. We love it there! It has an indoor/outdoor pool that is heated with big water slides and a lazy river - that is not heated. We had the best time, swimming, sleeping, playing cards, relaxing, reading, and just hanging out. It was great! 

When the girls got home from school Friday, we surprised them with new swimsuits for their trip. We were all excited about a week off of school and work! 

We drove to SA Sunday afternoon after church and went swimming right after we ate dinner! Well, the girls did. We didn't get in the pool with them that time! Kendall was excited to get to use her mermaid tail she got for Christmas from Granny and Papas. Such a fun pool!

Monday we woke up and swam more, all took a long nap, swam more before dinner, and then went to make smores at the fire pits they have on the resort property. The weather was just perfect and it was so nice to sit outside and rock and roast marshmallows!

Tuesday we woke up and got dressed and went to the Alamo and the Riverwalk! We rode the boat on the river and had lunch on the river. So great!

After doing all that Tuesday morning, we went back to the hotel to swim Tuesday afternoon and then cooked at home that night. Wednesday we woke up to swim more, but then the girls were done around mid-afternoon, so we decided to take advantage of the activities the kids club offered.  The girls watched a movie, played Bingo, and colored. The resort just does things really well and everything they do is great!

Snuggled up, watching a movie. The girls slept on the pull out sofa in the living room and then we had our own bedroom and Gigi and Peeps had their own bedroom. There were two bathrooms and a big kitchen and it was just so nice!

We just had the best week and loved being on vacation with Gigi and Peeps! Thank you guys so much for a wonderful vacation! We loved it!!
