A Trip With Michelle!

Kendall got to go on a trip to Ft. Worth with Michelle last weekend! Michelle was heading up for a quick trip from Friday to Saturday and Evy's birthday was on Saturday. We weren't able to go, but Kendall got to ride up with Michelle and stay with Gigi and Peeps for the night! She was very excited.

Waiting for Michelle on the driveway! We weren't quite sure what she was more excited about: going to Ft. Worth or getting to go with Michelle. :)

When she saw Michelle's car pull up in the driveway, she said, "Mom! This is gonna be so much fun!!"

Sweet Cooper: While Randy was putting Kendall's seat in Michelle's car, Cooper was standing at the van saying, "Mine. Seat. Daddy. Mine. Seat. Daddy." She wanted to go too! When we weren't looking, she grabbed her beach chair from the garage, carried it to Michelle's car, put it up in the seat and climbed in!! So funny! And a little sad. :) Randy put the seat belt around her and she said, "Go. Go." We thought it was funny that she was wearing her Aggie clothes - you could totally caption this picture "Aggie car seat." :)

When we got her seat out and Michelle and Kendall pulled off, this is what she did - started following the car down the driveway with her seat. She was so sad! We were able to distract her pretty quickly by taking her inside and giving her a ring pop. :)

We put some money in Kendall's pocket for her to get gummy bears when the stopped. That is our road trip tradition - she thinks she needs gummy bears if we are going to be in the car for a long time. When Michelle pulled up at Bucees, she reached to get her wallet out of her purse and Kendall said, "Michelle. It's ok. You don't need your wallet. I've got money." Totally serious. She had $3. Michelle said, "Well, Kendall, I may want to get me a drink, too." Kendall said, "Yeah. I know. I got this." Love that!!
Random thing: Greg and Kathy Pickering were headed up to Ft. Worth for the weekend too to visit with Michael and Noelle. They pulled in to Bucees in Madisonville at the same time as Michelle and Kendall!

Kathy took some pictures of Kendall with her gummy bears for us and sent them to us!

Michelle had all kinds of stories for us when they got back on Saturday. Those two had some funny conversations on the way up and back.

At one point "At Last" came on the radio. Michelle said, "Kendall, this is the song your mom and dad danced to for the first time at their wedding!" Kendall said, "Michelle, were you there?" Michelle said, "Yes, I was! I was a bridesmaid." Kendall said, "Michelle, will you tell me how it went?" So sweet!

Later, Michelle asked Kendall, "Kendall, are you going to get married?" Kendall said, "Nooo...I'm little! I have to grow!" Michelle said, "I know. But when you get married, who do you think you will marry?" Kendall said, "I don't know Michelle. I think I'm going to let God choose." Ha! Love it! Michelle said, "Well, where do you think you will live?" Kendall said, "I think I'm going to let God choose that too." Sweet girl!

We were glad Kendall got to go and that she was able to go to Evy's 2nd birthday party! She came home with some big news: Aunt Val has a baby in her tummy and it will be coming out after Christmas! We are so pumped about having a third cousin!
