Kendall's Ft. Worth Party!

We knew we would be heading to Ft. Worth close to Kendall's birthday to see Baby Oliver, so we went ahead and planned a party for her there too so we could celebrate with all our family there! Turning five is a big deal! Granny and Papas offered to host the party and it was so much fun. Again, just easy and nice to see everyone and celebrate our big five year old!

We kept with the Strawberry Shortcake theme. Granny got the cutest cake!

 All our parents, my Granny, Grandma and Grandpa, Alden and Maegan, Gracie and Evy, Brenda, Kathy, Frank, Emily and her kids were there. We had so much fun seeing everyone and Kendall loved it!

Kendall was probably most excited about getting to open more presents! Cooper also did a great job helping out.

 We were surprised to discover a new rule to our family's "rabbit" game - five year olds get to participate! The rabbit is a long-running family joke - someone (we think we know who) wrapped it and gave it to us as a gift for our wedding. Like just put it on the gift table with no card. We think it was pay backs for a prank Randy pulled. Anyway, Randy and I started leaving it at my Dad and Lisa's in hidden spots and when they would find it they would try and slip it back to us without us knowing. It has turned up in some pretty funny places over the last ten years. We have since included Alden and Scott and Maegan, but this was the first time Kendall got it. Now it will be her turn to find a place to hide it!

 All the kids at the table finished their cake and got up and went back to playing, but our committed Cooper was still sitting there working on her cake and ice cream! She's not going to let food go to waste! :)

We are so thankful for all our family who loves our girls! And we are always thankful when we get to be together. We love you guys!
And this concludes the week and a half of Kendall's birthday celebration! Five looks like it's going to be a pretty good year!
