Beach Day!

Last weekend we got to hang out with the whole Pickering family! Jeff and his girlfriend Chelsea were in town, and Michael and Noelle. At one point it was going to be our first weekend in the new building, but it got pushed back a week, so they were able to be here for our last Sunday on Dixie. Michael, Noelle, Greg and Kathy came over for dinner Thursday night before Chelsea and Jeff were in town, and then we all went to the beach on Saturday, along with Debbie, Michelle and Kaitlyn. It was a fun day at the beach, even with all the seaweed we've had lately!

Jeff was Student Body President at A&M his senior year, so Kendall used to call him "President Jeff." She got a little confused this weekend and kept calling him "Prince Jeff." So funny. We are sad we didn't get any pictures with Michael and Noelle!

Two of our most favorite people in the world. Greg and Kathy are such wonderful friends to us and they take such great care of our family. I can't even count how many meals we've shared, how many times we've been at each other's houses, and how many times they have watched our girls for us. They have especially been such a huge help to us since we brought Calli home - we've had so many appointments and most of them in Houston. Kathy and Greg, too sometimes, have kept the girls for us and they even got to have a sleepover with them the night before Calli's lip surgery. We love serving at Brazos Pointe with them and feel like we are part of their family. So thankful!!

 Greg sometimes tries to speak Khmer to Calli. :) She let him walk her down to the beach and play in the water - even singing along the way!

We had such a fun day and love being with sweet friends!
