I'm so thankful Randy thought to take a picture of this - this story is a MUST for the blog. I definitely want Calli reading about this years down the road. :)
Last week, I hopped in the shower before Randy got home. All three girls were playing in Kendall and Cooper's room, so I thought I could take a quick shower. I couldn't have been in there more than five minutes, but when I got out, I heard Randy yelling, "Ashley! Where are you?" Didn't sound good. I got dressed as quickly as I could and went to find him in the kitchen. Apparently, when he walked in the door, he found Calli, all alone, with the gallon of milk and the chocolate. She decided to make herself some chocolate milk! We were laughing so much. Not real sure why she decided to forego using a cup, but she for sure just unscrewed the chocolate syrup and thought it would be best to go straight into the jug of milk! This girl loves chocolate milk.
I need to take a video of how she says it, but it's kind of like "me-ahl." When she wakes up in the morning, after calling for "ma!ma!" she is saying "me-ahl!" She expects milk right when she wakes up and it has to be chocolate. We've had to start rationing her. :)
So Randy says to her, "Calli, that is no no." And she doesn't really do anything. So he tells her, "You are in trouble." And once he said that, she lost it. Started crying so hard. I said, "Calli, did you pour that chocolate in that milk?" And as fast as can be, she looked down at Molly and said, "No! Molly!" Ha!!! Already blaming stuff on the dog. I said, "Calli, did Molly put the chocolate in that milk?" And she said, "Yeah!" Oh my goodness. Trouble. And making us laugh even more.
We can't even believe she was able to lift the milk jug out of the fridge! She's pretty strong. And pretty smart. Randy picked her up to start cleaning her up and her little legs stuck together because she was so sticky with chocolate.
I cleaned the jug off as much as I could - most of the chocolate was on the outside - and put it back in the fridge. The next morning when I went to pour the milk, I heard something clanging inside and found two spoons in there! I SO wish I had had a video on her while she was doing all that. Funny girl!!
