We have had a lot of weddings, babies, and birthdays to celebrate this month! It's been fun!
Cooper got to go to Caleb's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese one Saturday with Randy. She was so excited for some time just with her Daddy, and they loved being together.
Caleb and Coop are such sweet buddies. Caleb is a year and a half older than her, but he is always so sweet to play with her and take care of her. We have loved this year that Mary picks the girls up after school, brings Kendall home, and a lot of days she, Caleb, and Sarah stay and play at the house. The kids all go play in the backyard and Mary and I get to sit and catch up. Such good memories!
We celebrated Michelle's birthday this week by planning a whole "birth week" for her, and then going out to eat at Lupe Tortilla on Wednesday before she went to Ft. Worth for the weekend. It was fun to go out to eat with her, Kaitlin, and the Kings! She was super excited for the waiters to sing to her. :)
We also celebrated the girls staying in their beds for five nights each with a trip to Cherry Berry! We started having some rough nights, particularly with Calli, but also with the big girls getting out of their beds and coming to our room in the middle of the night. So we brought the fuzz balls back, and told them that once they got five fuzz balls in their own jar, we would take them for ice cream. It just worked out that they all earned their five fuzz balls around the same time, so we all five went for a treat. These girls make us laugh so much!
Greg and Kathy's youngest, Jeff, got married to Chelsea last weekend! We were able to go to the wedding in Houston, and it was such a fun time with friends. The venue was beautiful, the wedding was outdoors, and the weather was great! We had a fun night.
We've had more celebrating that we've done lately - getting ready for Kristin and Scott's sweet baby girl, and welcoming Mary and Nathan's newest daughter, Savannah! More on that to come!
