The Rowdy Roundup happened a couple Friday nights ago at Kendall's school! This was a carnival and fundraiser for the school. She has been very excited about going as they have promoted it at school, so even though Randy was out of town, I decided to be brave and take all three girls. It was a fun night and we all did really well!! :)
The first thing she wanted to do was the cake walk because "they call your number and you win a CAKE!" Well, we played twice and never won a cake, but they still enjoyed it! Here Kendall and Cooper are - Kendall was a little nervous about it but pushed through!
She finally won something in the "spin the color wheel" game! She was very proud.
One of the things they saw right before we were about to leave was the hair coloring station. They were determined to get their hair colored. Even though we were heading straight home for baths and it would all wash out, we went ahead and did it and they were pretty excited! Calli wanted to do it too, but when it was her turn, she got shy and came back over to me. We made sure she wouldn't do it before we walked away, but then of course she changed her mind and threw a major fit all the way to the car and all the way home saying "hair! hair!" Too late, sister!
Sharing sno-cone, watching kids climb the rock wall! Kendall went back and forth on this too, but in the end decided she would wait and do it next year. :)
We had a fun night and I was glad we went. Randy loves a good carnival, so he was sad to miss. After the carnival, baths for all three and bedtime, we ALL slept good that night!!
