Happy Easter! I am wanting to stay super current on the blog because we leave for China this week! Oh my goodness - it is a little surreal that this is really happening just three days (almost two!) from now. We had a great Easter celebrating as a family of four for the last time and I wanted to make sure I blogged about it!
The girls and I took some pictures together before church this morning. Cooper is holding a bear of Calli's and Kendall is holding a bunny she got in her package from Kiki and Pops. All three sets of grandparents sent fun Easter packages and the girls loved everything! Thanks guys!
This was our last year to celebrate Easter in our church building on Dixie - next year we will be in the new building! That is super exciting. We had a great morning - three packed services and the whole service was really really good. You can listen to Greg's message online at www.brazospointe.com. It was awesome!
After church we had lunch with the Mitterlings, the Hendersons, Michelle and Kaitlyn, and Mary's parents at Mary and Nathan's house. The kids had so much fun playing together and we loved being with our Lake Jackson family. We all brought food and Nathan grilled steaks and Mary had everything decorated so cute. Such a perfect day!
Probably one of the last pictures of this family of four! Ahhhhh!!
After lunch the kids hunted eggs in the yard and on the patio.
Love these sweet friends!!
The girls....someone should probably be watching those kids walking around the pool! ;)
Happy Easter! We are thankful for Christ's sacrifice and what it means for us. We are looking forward to an exciting week and will probably spend most of our blogging time over on www.secureinhope.blogspot.com. Hopefully we'll have lots of updates! This time next week we will have our Calli girl!
So much fun! I wish I could have been there! Just look at what all Calli has to look forward to and to learn. She will have two wonderful big sisters to teach her everything! Happy Birthday, Ashley! Dad
