We just had the best, most relaxing vacation! Last week my mom and David took Randy and I on a trip to Las Vegas. We left Thursday morning and got back to Ft. Worth Sunday afternoon. It was three days and nights of great eating, relaxation, laying by the pool, spending time without the girls, and it was absolutely wonderful! We came back so rested and ready for whatever craziness the next few months have for us!
While we were in Vegas, the girls stayed in Ft. Worth with Gigi and Peeps! We drove up Wednesday night after Randy got off work, so they got to stay four nights with them. We are so thankful they took such good care of the girls and that Kendall and Cooper were able to have so much fun while we were gone. They really didn't even think about us too much - they were too busy playing and having fun!
We took an airplane picture both times we were on the plane to text to the girls. They are obsessed with wanting to fly on an airplane and are beyond excited about getting to fly to Ft. Worth when we go to China. Randy flies so much that they always talk about what it's like to fly on an airplane and how much fun it sounds like. So here is one of our airplane pictures. :)
We stayed at the Wynn Encore and it was super super nice! Mom and David spoiled us so much. It was really a suite with a sitting area, bedroom and awesome bathroom. So fancy!
The first night we were there we went to dinner at a nice steak restaurant at the Bellagio, the second night Mom and David sent Randy and I on a date to the show La Reve, and the third night all three of us went to see the Beatles Love show. Three date nights in a row - so awesome!
So thankful for Mom and David! This was at the dinner at the Bellagio - our table was down on the water level, right in front of the fountains. We sat there and ate and watched the water show every few minutes - couldn't be more perfect!
We saw Hello Kitty and had to take our picture with her for the girls. :)
Before the Beatles Love show! Great music, great costumes - so awesome!
Mom and I laid by the pool all three days. All. three. days. That is my idea of a vacation. I read two books, several magazines, got a little tan, and took lots of naps! I loved getting to spend time with mom by myself and the pool was super nice. One morning mom booked us massages at the spa - it was a crazy nice spa and we loved hanging out there. Then we went and laid by the pool when we were finished. Rough life, huh?
So while we were having so much fun there, the girls were having a pretty good time themselves back in Ft. Worth! In fact, we had a running joke about who was going to have more fun. They thought they did, but I'm not too sure about that. :)
We got to see Oliver and hold him for the first time! He is doing so well and the girls loved getting to see their new cousin for the first time. When we came when he was born, they weren't able to go to the hospital to see him, so they were pretty happy he was home! Kendall even got to hold him!
One day the girls got to go shopping and pick new dresses. That's pretty fun!
One night Kendall and Gracie had a sleepover at Gracie's house and Evy and Cooper had a sleepover at Gigi and Peeps'. Val posted these pictures of the big girls on their sleepover.
We enjoyed some time away but were pretty excited to see those two when we got back to Ft. Worth! We spent the night Sunday night with Pops and Kiki and the girls even got to swim in the hot tub! Monday we drove home. We all had a great vacation!
Mom and David, thank you so much for taking us and for spoiling us so much last week! We loved spending time with you guys and this couldn't have come at a better time! We love yall!
Gigi and Peeps, thanks for taking such good care of the girls for us! It was great to be able to go and not worry at all about how they were doing. We don't take it for granted!! Love yall!!

It was great all the way around. So much fun to see all the pictures!
