Jelly Stone Park!!

Gigi and Peeps took us and Valerie's family to Jelly Stone park to camp last weekend! It was so much fun. The campgrounds are in Waller, which is about halfway between Houston and College Station on 290. So for us, it's just about an hour and 45 minute drive. The whole camp is Yogi Bear themed and the girls were super excited about going. We met the Hendersons there last year for one night, so they remembered it and were excited to go back. This year Gigi rented a cabin for two nights. It was so cute - it had two rooms with a queen bed in each room and then a loft with full mattresses in it.
Cooper kept getting confused on the name. For awhile, she was talking about us going to "Jelly Bean" and then that changed to "Stoney Bean." That's the one that has stuck the longest. It's so funny to us how her sweet little head works!
The four big girls loved the loft and were so excited to get to sleep up there!
When we got there Thursday, Randy tried putting Calli down for a nap back at the cabin and I took Kendall and Cooper to the water park. They got new goggles for the trip so they were excited to model them. These pictures just kill me.

Calli didn't end up napping, Randy met us at the pool when Gigi, Peeps, Val and the girls got there. We were able to play for awhile before there was some lightening and everyone had to clear the pool, but it was dinner time so that worked out well.
Calli had a rough night Thursday night. She didn't fall asleep until 11 after no nap, and then woke up from 1-5am. It was not so great. We decided it was probably just a little too much too soon, and she was over-tired and overwhelmed. She slept from 5-8 though, and then took a better nap on Friday so Friday night went much better.
All the girls loved the water park! Calli loved to just play in the shallow end, filling up a cup and pouring it out. Kendall's favorite part was just swimming in the pool. She's such a fish - she swam all over, putting her head in, coming up for air, and then sticking it right back in! I'm so excited to see how well she does at swim lessons next week. Cooper's favorite part was the slides. There were some small ones she could go on by herself, and then a bigger one that someone had to hold her in. She loved them!

We ate well, played hard, and loved being outside and with family. We just love that place - it's perfect for the girls' ages and they have so much fun. Saturday morning we got up and packed up and took some pictures with Yogi before we left for lunch!

Thanks for such a fun weekend, Gigi and Peeps! We loved being all together and had so much fun playing!
