Just a few pictures from our phones from the past few weeks:
Reading before bed. Calli's still holding on to her snack trap - she still wants food all day long, but we have noticed a few changes in her food issues. She has actually gotten up and walked away from food a couple times, which would never happen a few weeks ago. She is also showing preference for some foods instead of just eating anything she can get her hands on. She will try anything but doesn't love grapes, strawberries, and hot dogs.
Two weeks ago we had some visitors! Gigi and Peeps came down from Sunday to Wednesday for Kendall's preschool graduation, and then Granny came from Thursday to Sunday. We had a lot of fun and the girls did, too! Granny sent us this picture from the hotel the night she took Kendall and Cooper to have a slumber party with her!Calli's lip is looking so good! It's been 2.5 weeks now and it is just amazing to us how quickly it is healing. Randy took these pictures last week and it already even looks better than this!
Before bed one night they got to have popcorn and watch a movie!
We had been spending time every single day outside. The weather for May in South Texas has just been great, with very few mosquitoes so far! The girls love playing in the backyard. Calli loves to swing, so Kendall will put her in the baby swing and push her every once in awhile, and she stays just as content as can be! Kendall and Cooper are so good at making up imaginary games and pretending - we love to sit back and watch what they come up with! We've been thankful for good days outside!
A snack on the back porch - they've also had fun playing in their blow up pool.
Cooper loves playing with these big Legos and building towers. Mom took this when she was here of the tower Coop was building for her "amimals."
Last Sunday before church Kendall was laying on the ottoman watching t.v. Calli climbed up there and laid down with her just like this, all by herself! It was so precious.
May was fun and now we're ready to see what June holds! So far we know we have lots of doctors appointments, a trip to Jellystone Park, summer reading club and storytimes at the library, swim lessons, and Vacation Bible School. Can't wait!
