Promotion Sunday

Sunday the girls moved up to the next age class. Usually this happens in August, close to when school starts, but this year our children's ministry promoted the kids in June so they could meet their new teachers before we move into the new building (probably in July!). Kendall was excited about moving up to the five year old class, but Cooper was the most excited about moving up to the three year old class because that is the year they get to start going to the Clubhouse! She has heard Kendall and me talk about the Clubhouse all this year, and was so pumped to finally get to go herself. The Clubhouse is where the 3s, 4s, and 5s all go together to hear the story, watch a short video, sing songs, practice their memory verse and pray. We have some of the songs that we listen to in the car, so she already knew some of them and was just so excited all week that she was finally getting to go to the Clubhouse.

Here they are after church with "Ernie" Erin Martin. Erin is the coordinator for Sonshine Park and she does an outstanding job. Cooper ran up to her after class and said "I got to go to the CLUBHOUSE!!" Erin was so excited to see her so excited. I just loved it! We're so thankful for our children's ministry team! 

Randy tried to sneak a picture through the window of Cooper in the Clubhouse for the first time. You can see her right in the middle.  

 The girls wore their new dresses that Michelle just brought back for them from Bolivia. I tried to take pictures before church, but again, that didn't go so well. Oh well!  Makes for some funny outtakes.

 

I can't believe we are down to just weeks left before we move into our brand new building! Instead of our "new" church, Cooper calls it our "noon" church. That's kind of become what it's called in our family, and we can't wait to meet in our "noon" church every week!
