We were so excited that Pops and Kiki were able to come down for Halloween this year! They came on Thursday for the parade, stayed Friday for actual Halloween, and left on Saturday. We had a great visit!
Kiki loves telling stories and asked if Kendall's teacher would mind if she came and told a story to her class, like she used to come and tell stories to my class when I was a teacher. Her teacher was excited about it, so Pops and Kiki went and had lunch with Kendall at school on Friday and then stayed for Kiki to tell "The Gunny Wolf" story. Kendall was so proud and she got to help Kiki tell the story and it was really fun!
After she got home from school that afternoon, we carved our pumpkin (or Randy carved it - whatever). He was going for a minion from Despicable Me and I think it looks pretty good!
The weather was so nice that we sat outside most of the afternoon watching the girls ride their bikes. Kendall is doing so good, riding without her training wheels, and Pops and Kiki were very impressed. Pops even took a turn riding Randy's bike for awhile. :)

We ate some stew and cornbread at home, and then went to Willow Drive's Hallelujah Festival. That's the church where the little girls go to preschool, so they had fun seeing lots of their friends and teachers. There were all kinds of carnival games, bounce houses, slides, snacks, and a cake walk, which was Kendall's favorite. She also enjoyed racing her Daddy through the obstacle course a couple times, and beat him both times!
After being at Willow Drive, we went to Debbie and Steve's house to trick or treat before we came home. The girls had to peek in at Kona while we were there.

We had such a fun night and a great weekend with Kiki and Pops!
