Cooper and Calli had their Thanksgiving feast last week at preschool! They have been practicing their songs for awhile now and were very excited for us to come watch them perform and have lunch with them. And it was an even bigger bonus that Gigi, Peeps, and Mamaw came down to go with us!
Calli has been walking around singing their songs for awhile now. This one says, "I want to stop what I'm doing and just say thanks, just say thanks, just say thanks. I want to stop what I'm doing, and just say thanks, thank you God!" So sweet to hear her singing it!
The girls and I worked together to make these giant chocolate chip cookies and turn them into "thankful turkeys." It was fun to do together!
All of the kids paraded into the sanctuary, shaking their instruments they made. Calli was so serious about following the person in front of her and shaking her shaker. She could hardly even look at us and smile! So proud of that sweet girl!
Cooper was all smiles, and mostly excited about seeing Gigi and Peeps!
After they sang their songs and said their poems, we went to eat lunch in the fellowship hall. The girls were looking forward to Chick Fil A nuggets!
This is Tristan, Cooper's good friend in her class. They are pretty cute together!
We had so much fun going to their school - the preschool Thanksgiving feast is something we look forward to every year! Thanksgiving is so fun!
