Our new nephew, Baby Stephen Lewis Johnson, was born on Tuesday morning, November 18th! We have all been so excited that Alden and Scott were having a baby and we were just so ready to meet him. His due date was actually November 8th, so he was 10 days late! When he finally decided to make his appearance, he was 9 lbs 3 oz! Such a big boy! We love him so much already.
Here he is, ready to go home from the hospital! He was born on Tuesday, and we were already planning to head to Ft. Worth the following Monday for Thanksgiving, so we didn't go up when he was born and I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on him!
We face timed with Alden, Scott, and Stephen the afternoon he was born with the girls, and then that night Randy and I had more face time with them after the girls were in bed. They were so so wound up when they saw him - they were all wanting to talk to him and to Aunt Auggie, and Kendall even sang him Happy Birthday! I was happy to be able to call them back later that night, hear the story of how the morning went, and hear more details from Alden and Scott. He is just so precious!
Monday night, when we got in town, we drove straight to Bridgeport to Alden and Scott's house to see them! I got to hold him first, but all the way up to Ft. Worth, the girls and I fought over who was going to get to hold him first and who was the most excited. I won. :)
So proud!
Alden is doing so well! She's very laid back for a first time mom, and also very confident. Stephen is eating great, sleeping well, and everything is just going so great! We are so very happy for them.
