October Miscellaneous

Here's the rest of the pictures from this month from my phone. It was a busy month!
The girls are getting ready for their new cousin, Baby Stephen, to be here. Cooper drew a picture of Aunt Auggie holding Baby Stephen!

Kendall lost another tooth! This makes number 5. She lost it right before she left for school, and took it to school in a baggie hoping to get whatever tooth necklace the school gives kids when they lose a tooth there. She didn't get one, so she decided to make her own necklace when she got home. I was pretty impressed - she came up with it and made it all on her own!
Goofy girls waiting with Randy in the car while I ran in somewhere.

Calli went on a bear hunt one day at school. So cute in her bear ears!
Kaitlin asked Kendall if she would draw a picture of King David for the "creativity" series this month in Bounce. We were pretty impressed with her artwork!

Cooper got to bring their class pet, Max the cheetah, home from school one day for a few nights. She was very excited to finally have a turn with Max. She took him on our bike ride with us one morning.
Greg and Kathy were so sweet to ask us one week if we wanted their A&M tickets for the Ole Miss game and if the girls could have a sleep-over. We were so excited to get to go to the game and see the renovations on Kyle Field, but I'm not sure that the girls weren't more excited about a slumber party! Greg and Kathy are such sweet friends who make us feel so loved and taken care of.

This girl. She sometimes has a hard time staying in her bed at night. One night, Randy crashed super early after we put the girls to bed because he was so worn out. I was up reading and heard Cooper in the living room. I called out to her to go to bed, and didn't hear anything else from her. About 30 minutes later I got up to lock the dog door and turn off the lamp and found her passed out on the big chair. So funny!
Some other sweet friends, the Walkers, went to Disney World this month and asked us if we wanted their tickets to the Brazoswood game one Friday night. Randy ended up getting sick that week, so I took the girls by myself and felt pretty brave. :) They ended up doing great and we had a fun time! Mary brought Sarah, so the girls had fun playing with her. They loved watching the band, the cheerleaders, and Kendall even sat with me for a little bit asking questions about how the football game worked. It was a fun night, but we missed Ran.
A couple of Wee Place girls in their new shirts and boots!

Cooper the librarian! Coop still says she wants to be a librarian when she grows up, so on Tuesdays and Thursdays while we wait at the school for Calli to have her speech lesson, she goes in to the school library and helps shelve books! She feels so big doing this and I love that she has a little job that is just especially for her. The librarian, Ms. Griffith, is so sweet to let her do this and help her feel so big.

The girls picked out their outfits to go grocery shopping one day. I'm loving Cooper's hat and the ways she's carrying my shopping bags.
We had a great October and are excited about what these last two months of the year hold for the Dane family!
