We had to wake the girls up on Christmas morning! And they were pretty hard to wake up, too. Randy said, "Oh girls, this would have never happened when I was a kid!" They got stirring and we videoed them walking into the living room to see what Santa had brought. Kendall got a new bike, Cooper got an ant farm, and Calli got a ukulele! Those were all things they had been asking for and they were so excited. Then they opened their stockings to find even more surprises!
Great Granny had asked if Kendall would practice reading the Christmas story from Luke 2 and read it at our family Christmas at Pops' and Kiki's. She practiced all week and did such a great job. She asked if she could read it to us that morning. We are so proud of her!
Calli got a second panda bear in her stocking and we found them "meeting" each other later in the morning. She had been holding each of them, introducing them to each other and left them like this. Sweet girl!
One of Coop's gifts was a jewelry box that she could decorate. She asked to do that while Randy made pancakes, so we let her before we started getting packed and ready to get on the road!
We had a great Christmas morning as a family, and as always, I was so thankful we have Christmas eve eve services so that we could have that time together just the 5 of us before we left for Ft. Worth. It was a great morning!
