Friday, October 30th was a day full of parades! Cooper had her Kindergarten parade at school and then we had our annual parade on our street that night. Cooper dressed up this year as Aurora, Sleeping Beauty, and she was the first person in line for her class to parade through the halls of the school. She took it very seriously, and even planned a few twirls as she passed by us each time! It was so cute and so funny. Definitely pre-meditated and planned out. I love it.
We were so thankful to be able to host the parade again this year and loved seeing all our friends. It has grown to such a huge crowd and it's just so low-key and so much fun. Our neighbors are so great to sit out and give treats to the kids and the kids love parading up and down the street. Great memories!
It was raining before and after the parade this year, and we actually waited until about 45 minutes before to make the call that we were still going to have it. The rain held off for the hour that we paraded and partied and then it started again! Perfect!
